Whaleback Lighthouse

This lighthouse is owned by the American Lighthouse Foundation, acquired in November 2008. It is currently maintained and cared for by the Friends of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse

White Island Lighthouse

Located on the Isles of Shoals, 7 miles off the coast of New Hampshire.

This lighthouse is cared for by the Lighthouse Kids, an affiliate of the American Lighthouse Foundation.

Long Point Lighthouse

Long Point lighthouse is located on a spit of land opposite Provincetown, Cape Cod. It is accessible by water taxi, or walking across the breakwater and dunes (approx 4 miles total).

Nubble Lighthouse

Arguably, one of the more picturesque lighthouses in the country, annually on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, the Nubble is lit for Christmas. A parking area at Sohier park offers close viewing.

Most parts of Glacier National Park in northwest Montana will challenge any fear of heights. The "Road to the Sun" skirts on the edges of cliffs that offer visibility thousands of feet DOWN. A wonderous and beautiful part of America!

Grand Teton National Park

Grand Teton National Park is near Jackson Hole, Wyoming. In my opinion, one of the more picturesque and recognizable mountain ranges in all the national parks. These shots were all taken at different times of the day from differing angles, and if you look close at some, you can see some bison roaming in the foreground.
